Pillow Talk: Nura Khan

Nura wears POPLIN Indochine Silk PJs

Not only is stylist Nura Khan incredibly chic, she's also hilarious with the most infectious laugh around. Inbetween lounging in Italian palazzos (above) we caught up for a little pillow talk...

POPLIN designs are inspired by the style of iconic women, often from the '50s an '60s like Bardot and Ingrid Bergman, as well as contemporary icons like Iris Apfel. If you could dip into anyone's wardrobe, past or present, whose would you choose?
I would love to have a rummage through Chanel's wardrobe. Black and white, stripes, pearls- the dream! Also, the swans of the 60s- Marella Agnelli, Gloria Guinness, Babe Paley- their style was so modern, Simple, comfortable but always chic. The best.

What's on your wishlist from POPLIN ?
I'm currently lusting after the Bardot nightshirt and the Audrey Pyjamas. But really I want absolutely everything! Help.

We're all about the beauty sleep at POPLIN... Are you an owl or a lark? Late sleeper? Early riser?
An owl I'm afraid. Double help.

Favourite thing to...
- Cook in your pyjamas?
Scrambled eggs with butter, to be cooked on a very low heat stirring constantly. It's the best birthday breakfast.
- Read in your pyjamas?
Anything about the Mitford sisters or Diana Vreeland. I'm an addict!
- Listen to you in your pyjamas?
Some good gossip! Ideally over breakfast with girlfriends, the morning after a great party.

Best hotel bed you've ever slept in?
Palazzo Margherita in Bari, Italy. Huge and beautiful.

Dream destination?
Too many! Paris, Big Sur, Rajasthan, next stop Brazil.

Top travel essentials you always pack?
POPLIN Indochine Silk Pyjamas, to make every bed glamorous.
