These are quite simply the ultimate silk PJs, in the most beautiful silk we could find and with a glamorous Indochine print. Mine already feel like a loyal wardrobe classic, travelling with me for a romantic trip to Paris, and slipped into in the Scottish Highlands for after-dinner drinks with friends on a Hogmany holiday. Oh the places we'll go...  

On Location

London is endlessly grey at the moment. Weather for getting into pyjamas and watching Scandinavian crime thriller series. Our SS13 shoot on location in verdant Umbria seems like an impossible dream! Here's photographic evidence...

Let's Go Fly a Kite

A few weeks ago my cotton supplier, Sanjay, whose family business provides POPLIN with the most beautiful Indian cottons, invited me to come and celebrate the Gujurati kite festival with his family. Little paper kites are launched into the sky on spectacular lengths of bright pink string. They flutter vertigo-high into the endless blue and are then artfully guided to swoop down and cut kites flown from neighbouring buildings out of the sky, amidst delighted whoops and cheers.
